The United States Men’s National Team faces Turkey in an international soccer friendly at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday, June 7, 2025 (6/7/25).

Mauricio Pochettino and the United States look to begin their summer romp with the first of two of international friendlies against European opponents as they host Turkey in Hartford on Saturday afternoon.

Turkey won more duels, aerial duels, and had a higher success rate of tackles against the Americans, who seemed to lose the mentality game and intensity as the match progressed -- despite the fact that the home side had plenty more possession that led to substandard half chances.

After taking a first-minute lead, the U.S. gave up two in quick succession and fell to Turkey in a Gold Cup tune-up.

While head coach Mauricio Pochettino won't have Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and many other European-based USMNT stars, he still brings a competitive squad, featuring AFC Bo
