Epic Games launcher finishing installation prematurely

I submitted a ticket to Epic Games, which was answered with several suggested tests, and out of all the alternatives provided in various articles, the only time I was able to install the Epic Games Launcher was by using "msiexec.exe" in Task Manager.

Dec 13, 2024 · Epic Games Store - Download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store. I wish I knew there was a Microsoft Store version earlier, it would have spared myself of a lot of headache. Upon installing it (which ran normally, without the use of cmd), the Epic Online Services worked instantly. I was even prompted for an update!
