Dahlias are an absolute staple for me when it comes to summer and fall flowers! All named varieties start from a tuber which you plant 12 inches apart and 4-6 inches deep after your last frost. Good draining soil, sunshine and regular water are essential as it grows and they also benefit from staking as many get over 5 ft tall, although actual height will depend on the variety. All varieties require the same care though. Doesn’t matter what flower blooms, if it’s a dahlia, they all need the same
