Assam: Redevelopment works of railway station going on

It was on 26th January, 1950 that the first passenger train was run on the 'Assam Rail Link' - a monumental project of historic importance, which restored the connectivity of the North East with the rest of India after the disruption due to Partition. Today, on the 75th anniversary of this memorable occassion, N.F.
