The supernova remnant Cassiopeia A comes to musical life in this new sonification featuring data from Hubble, Chandra X-ray Observatory, NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, and the retired Spitzer Space Telescope. Now this image can be experienced in a different way: Chandra's X-ray data is mapped to modified piano sounds, while infrared data from Webb and Spitzer have been assigned to various string and brass instruments.
