This is the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Bartlett, Illinois just 30 minutes from Chicago. It’s one of the largest traditional Hindu temples in the US built entirely from hand carved stone shipped from India and then assembled on site. It’s free to enter and is open every day! Modest clothing is required (no shorts or tank tops), and shoes must be removed before entering the temple, so bringing socks is a good idea!
