A couple years ago we spent a large part of the winter in Apache Junction AZ. It was filled with amazing rides including this one to Canyon Lake. It was a one way journey (10.5 miles) from the “sand pit” to the lake parking lot. A kind local couple drove our rig to the parking lot for us after we got on the trail.
