Out with the old and in with the new! On Aug. 18, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Healy suffered a fire in the ship's main propulsion motor. The Healy was brought to dry dock in Vallejo, and a replacement motor was sent from the U.S. Coast Guard Yard, where it was placed on a barge and transited the Panama Canal to California.
