November 24, 1986: On this day 38 years ago, the Miami Dolphins crushed the New York Jets 45-3 in front of 70,206 fans on a Monday night at the Orange Bowl. The Dolphins were led by running back Lorenzo Hampton, who rushed for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns. It was the final meeting between the Dolphins and Jets at the Orange Bowl.
