Today just before 3 PM, Lodi Police Detectives and San Joaquin County Sheriff's Detectives were conducting surveillance on Navdip Khaira, a 35 year old male from Lodi who had warrants for his arrest for vehicle theft, burglary, drug sales and felony evasion. The Lodi Police Department Unmaned Aerial System team responded as well. When Khaira was contacted he fled from a vehicle in the 900 block of south Cherokee Lane and was tracked using the UAS. Khaira was apprehended after a short foot chase.
