I am truly blessed and privileged to serve the departed souls. It is an honour and a daily blessing—every moment a reminder. Every body I wash, every shroud I tie, every grave I prepare reminds me that one day the roles will be reversed, and I will be the one being carried, washed, shrouded, and laid to rest. Allah says: “Every soul shall taste death, and to Us you will be returned.” (Qur’an 29:57) This work keeps the heart awake and the ego grounded. It teaches humility, accountability, and pre
